All abilities are catered for. The breaks are held in Bournemouth’s seafront luxury Marsham Court Hotel. The studios have superb sea views, amazing breakfasts & delicious dinners. Just a few minutes walk to Bournemouth shops and resort town centre. The Russell Coats museum is just across the road. The pier & gardens are all near by.

Popular TV artist’s Joe Dowden, Trevor Osborne & Marilyn Allis have joined forces to bring you this unique opportunity to learn their techniques & tips. Staying in the fantastic Marsham Court Hotel situated on Bournemouth’s seafront with views stretching across the bay to the Purbecks in the distance.
Price includes 4 nights accommodation on a half board basis and all tuition fees.
Joe Dowden..Landscape and Seascape Painter, Born in London UK. He has exhibited at the Singer & Friedlander/Sunday Times Exhibition, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, Laing Art Exhibition, Chichester Open, Barings ING – Platform 100, World of Drawings and Watercolours, British Modern Masters, Royal Society of Marine Artists. Joe stages one man shows at Albury, Southern UK. Paintings sell at Elford Fine Art, Fine Art UK & British Modern Masters 2008. Author of books and magazine articles. Published worldwide. Trevor Osborne.. Trevor has been fascinated by light and colour, and he has recently been studying the relationship between texture and colour in pastel and watercolour. His subjects include figure work and portraiture, as well as light on water and the marine environment, and his recent work has studied the relationship between people and animals who work together in the Suffolk landscape. Trevor’s work has been sold all over the world, including Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Australia and the USA.
A further side to Trevor’s work is his teaching, both in workshops and one-to-one. He also gives demonstrations and lectures
Marilyn Allis “Society for all Artists”, artist of the year 1999, launched her into a career in painting. She has exhibited in the RI London. She has taught now for 20 years. Gaining inspiration from traveling all over the world, and bringing this knowledge into her paintings. An excellent tutor, covering many subjects, people, animals, still life and more in a very loose impressionistic style. She has made many teaching art DVD’s, TV programs and is the author of 3 books, ‘People aren’t scary really, Animals on the loose’ & Painting Dorset in watercolour’

There is a £100 per person non returnable deposit upon making your booking.
A sea view room can be available for a surcharge of £60.
Single room occupancy surcharge is £60.
Non painting partners are welcome, at a cost of £400.
Upon receiving your deposit, you will be sent (by email or post) a booking form. This must be returned, with payment in full before the 30th January 2019.
If you wish to purchase a watercolour kit, to save you carrying to much if you are arriving at the course by train. I have a reduced fee kit with most of what you will need for the week for £100
